Details
Born in Kyoto, genmaicha is surrounded by a legend: a farmer would have had the idea to produce this tea, cut with rice, to allow the poor to be able to buy tea and benefit from its benefits. Over time, its unique flavor has ultimately won over many people!
The sencha green tea used in our genmaicha is harvested by our farmers at the very beginning of spring in Fujieda. Once harvested and dried, the green tea is mixed on site with brown rice from a nearby plantation.
Our genmaicha is cultivated in a way 100 % natural, without chemical products or additives. All our tea bushes live in harmony with nature, mingled with an incredible multitude of insects that we leave there in peace.
At Anatae, in order to offer you exceptional teas, both delicious, healthy and safe for your health, we regularly carry out rigorous laboratory analyses.
