Details
Calendula promotes rapid wound healing. It is used for cleaning wounds after abundant washing (with soap and water) and removal of dirt. Traditionally used topically as an adjunctive treatment, it softens the skin and soothes itching. It is also widely used for chapped skin, abrasions, and insect bites. Commonly employed for sunburns, superficial burns (not extensive), and diaper rash, it also serves to dress chilblains and infected wounds. It is used against corns and warts.
